Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Luis comes from a family of artists and carries a rich musical heritage as the grandson of the renowned tango singer Eduardo “el negro” Rodriguez. His journey began at the age of six as a soloist in the “Coro de Niños de la Universidad de Guayaquil” and has grown into an international career.

As a tenor soloist, Luis has performed in countries including Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Poland, and Italy. He gained national recognition as a finalist on Ecuador’s version of The Voice in 2016 and was later nominated for Tropical Pop Artist of the Year in 2022 for his hit song “Lo Siento.”

Now based in Tennessee, Luis Ernesto continues to share his passion for music, blending traditional Ecuadorian sounds with a modern style.
